Yemin Moshe is an old Jerusalem neighborhood, near the old city. It was established in 1891 as part of the exit from beneath the walls. The neighborhood established by Moshe Montefiore and was abandoned during the war of independence. It was resettled by immigrants from Turkey and Kurdistan after the war. The first project on the ground was the flour mill. It was built by Montefiore in order to provide flour at a cheap price, thus enabling the poor to purchase it. Minister Montefiore sent an English expert operate the mill, which was a source of blessing for the people.
