Whole In Blue

Feeling whole for the first time was being pregnant for the first time. I was sure I am creating something so wonderful that even I can't mess up. My daughter and I have a special bond. We understand each other so well. Too well in her part, that sometimes I worry she pays a price that she shouldn't. My father said to me once (when I was already an adult and had three children) that he knows he wasn't a perfect parent but he finds comfort in believing that he was so much better parent than his own parents and that I am a much better parent than he is, and also that my children will be even better parents than I am to them.
