Caring The World

I saved my grandmother from suicide when I was 22.

My childhood friend committed suicide at the age of 24.

It is not by chance that many years later, a large part of my professional work was diagnosing and preventing suicides. I had patients who tried to take their own lives, I had some that succeeded. This form of death was part of my life for 18 long years and then, one day, something in me broke. The intensity of the pain, despair, emptiness, lack of faith for anything to ever get better and the simple wish to stop hurting. I felt as if all the weight of the world lay on my shoulders.

And then I had to make a change. I chose life. I chose to rejoice and spread the joy all over the world using my art and stories.
